Our Mission Statement:
We are a non-profit organization resolute in solving the western US water needs. We support water conservation efforts to help reduce consumption, however, our main mission is to specifically find and implement solutions to distribute and source adequate water for the western US. We do this by providing engineering and project management services, advocating for water distribution and sourcing solutions, and supporting government, industry, and communities by coalescing ideas into action, educating lawmakers, communities, and industry on how distribution and water sourcing solutions can provide long-term abundant water where it is needed. We believe that we can solve the problems that confront the western US’ inadequate water supplies, and we are determined to be the catalysis, and solutions provider that enables/delivers lasting outcomes, bestowing ample water for our posterity and the west for years to come.
Our Vision:
We believe that access to clean water is one of the most critical resources of the west, and thus essential for the growth and survival of the communities and industries of the western US. Water is vital for agriculture, industry, recreation, and our personal lives, and access to abundant water can either make or break our communities. We believe that although necessary, that conservation is a short-term solution and will not provide the long-term answers for water that is desperately needed by the west. Conservation will buy us time while we pursue and establish new long-term solutions. We also believe that the myth that we don’t have enough water is incorrect, but in fact that there is ample water for all of humanity, it is mostly a water distribution problem. With climate change and increased growth in the west, new sources of water are needed to keep up with demand and to allow the west to thrive not just survive. We believe by looking at out-of-the-box solutions, technologies, that new sources can be established to provide the life-giving water needed to sustain our way of life.
